CCFR Research Programme 2007-2008 Released
The Centre for Child and Family Research has released a new and improved Research Programme brochure for 2007-2008. This contains information on the Centre’s current and recently completed work, structure, staff, partnerships and funding.
Several exciting new projects currently being undertaken include an exploration of factors that affect transitions to adulthood from public care, and an investigation into the social care decision making processes that affect children at risk of significant harm.
The Centre is progressing its work on the relationship between costs and outcomes and continues to develop the ‘Cost Calculator for Children’s Services’ computer application. Work is also continuing on the benefits of social and therapeutic horticulture as a form of social care.
The Centre’s newly designed website has also been recently launched and includes up-to-date news and progress reports on all current work.
